Not a Trend. Just a Standard.
There’s a lot of noise around seed oils.
Some say they’re heart-healthy.
Others avoid them completely.
We’re not here to debate.
We’re here to share how we make decisions—and why.
Why We Skip Seed Oils
A simple choice—rooted in how we think food should be made.
We avoid industrial seed oils because we believe convenience food should still respect your body: less processing, more integrity, better fats, and ingredients you can actually recognize.
We Look at How Food is Made
When we evaluate ingredients, we don’t just ask what they are—we look at how they’re produced. Seed oils are typically highly processed and refined to improve shelf life and neutrality. The approach doesn’t align with how we think food should be handled.
There are different perspectives—and that’s okay
You’ll find strong opinions on both sides of this conversation. Our approach isn’t about extremes—it’s about alignment. We choose ingredients that are: Closer to their natural state. Minimally processed. Traditionally used in cooking. Because for us, simpler tends to be better.
So What Do We Use?
-
Grassfed Ghee
Rich in fat-soluble vitamins and naturally free of lactose and casein, ghee brings deep flavor, excellent heat stability, and nourishing traditional fats to our cooking. Because purity matters, we carefully source butter from trusted producers who prioritize clean practices and uncompromising ingredient integrity, and make our own ghee in house.
-
Extra Virgin Olive Oil
Cold-pressed extra virgin olive oil adds vibrant flavor and antioxidant-rich nourishment, making it ideal for lower-heat cooking, sauces, and finishing dishes. With olive oil quality varying widely across the market, we take extra care to source oils chosen for freshness, purity, and transparency.
-
Avocado Oil
Naturally rich in heart-healthy monounsaturated fats with a high smoke point, avocado oil is a clean, versatile choice for high-heat cooking without sacrificing quality. We intentionally source oils that meet strict standards for purity and integrity in a market where shortcuts and diluted oils are far too common.
It shows up in how our food tastes—and feels
This isn’t just about philosophy—it impacts the end result.
✔️Richer, more satisfying flavor
✔️Better cooking performance
✔️Ingredients you can recognize and trust
And when you’re eating something regularly, those choices add up.
It’s a simple filter we apply to everything
If it’s overly processed, we question it. If there’s a more natural option, we choose it.
No extremes. No fear-based messaging.
Just a consistent commitment to doing things a better way.
